respond to this: Something that stood out to me as unexpected in the readings is when the author mentioned all these different ways that keep people engaged when watching TV. I did not think TV studies was going to be this way but I am interested to learn more about different forms to watch TV. I thought the screenings were really interesting. I didn’t think the screenings were going to be interesting but surprisingly I found them more engaging than I thought. I am excited that I will get to watch many different types of screenings, especially ones I wouldn’t normally watch. I haven’t watched any of the screenings that we will be watching in class this semester so I have no idea what to expect. So far I am enjoying this class and gaining knowledge on different forms of television. I am interested in learning about how different cultures are portrayed in television. I do not have any questions about the readings, lecture’s or screenings.
