Final Paragraph Outline Assignment Instructions

Due Date: December 8^th 5pm

Format: You should use MLA guidelines to organize content within your Word document. The five paragraphs composed in this assignment should appear on a single Word document, double-spaced paged, in Times New Roman, 12pt font. **Note: You must write and highlight all specified items for the paragraphs in order to receive full credit for this final assignment. ** Also, be sure to proofread your assignment carefully to avoid typographical errors and other careless mistakes.

Grading: This final assignment will be worth up to 100 points total and contributes to 35% of your weighted grade percentage in the course.

Description:

Students will be required to outline an essay by composing several well-developed paragraphs for a selected topic that they produced from their midterm assignments. In selecting one of the five paragraphs written for the midterm assignment, students will add/produce a well-written introduction paragraph, three body paragraphs with supporting details which includes their pre-written paragraph from the midterm assignment, and a conclusion paragraph. These written paragraphs will also need to highlight a thesis statement in the introduction (yellow), topic sentences for each body paragraph (blue), and the transition sentence at the end of each body paragraph (pink).
