Discussion 1:

Policy evaluation uses various research methods to systematically investigate the effectiveness of policy interventions, implementation and processes, and to determine their merit, worth, or value in terms of improving the social and economic conditions of stakeholders involved. Policy can be defined as a law, regulation, procedure administrative action, incentive or voluntary practice of governments and other institutions as per CDC. Such policies are operated at system level and can impact and influence complex systems to improve the health and safety of general public. Approach through policy is a cheaper way to create positive impact on health of large number of population.

Policies can operate at different levels such as national, local , state or organizational. Policy evaluation applies evaluation principles and procedures to examine and verify the content , implementation and impact of a policy.Evaluation helps us understand the merit, worth, utility and efficiency of a policy. Public policy evaluation is unavoidable for any nation in the world. There are five stages of program evaluation which are need assessment, assessment of program theory, assessment of program process or implementation evaluation, impact assessment or policy evaluation and efficiency assessment., Evaluating the three stages namely formulation, implementation and impact assessment is crucial since result guidelines coming out of these stages will determine better outcome in regards to successful accomplishment of any public policy.

While designing a policy, every organization should consider is to check for feasibility, usefulness and accuracy of the policy being implemented. Before evaluation policy should have been implemented , analyzed and monitored. Policies need to be implemented to ensure positive impact on labor force of the company. During implementation phase the goals need to be set to allow organization’s leaders to understand if the policy was perfect fit in its place and if it is meeting desired needs and expectations. Formulation and negotiation phase involves clear and mutual understanding of what and how it is to be done and for concerned parties to come to agreement on how and why it needs to be implemented.

Policy Evaluation and Production Identification:

Evaluating the needs required for the product is done by policy evaluation and to make it a recognizable product in the market at a good rate production identification is required. Taking the product is not only the thing the organization has to be concerned about but how good the quality and what needs to be done is also an essential thing for the organizations (Page, 2018). As the product will go at a wide range across the globe its quality and the technology they use also counts.

Importance:

Making the product visible at a wide range is an essential thing for the organizations to grab the user’s attention in the business. So along with attention as the users will see what kind of benefits the product is giving the role of policy evaluation will come into a place where every aspect will be considered from each corner. Identifying the product and if the product is not of a quality the business will fail. So, when both of them work on one it will give a better outcome.

Policy Evaluation and Policy Implement:

Examining the content and understanding the impact possibility by the policy with the help of principles and methods will make us understand the policy evaluation. Controlling and defining the borders for policy evaluation is a bit complicated (Kent, 2014). Whereas I can say that Policy implement is related in a way where sometimes the organization will be in a position that they will not be able to afford the policy. So, for this purpose, I see a relationship between policy Evaluation and Policy Implement where one creates, monitors the policy and others will understand the policy and procedures in it.

Importance:

Scope of the policy is always important for the organizations and I see that policy evaluation will scale the data and emphasize the need in taking challenges. Coming to Policy implement it is important for creating a positive impact across the organization and understand the effect on implementation. The importance is measured on the above statements for the above terms.

Policy Evaluation and Policy Formulation:

Every organization has some agenda right, so not only defining and evaluating the products is important, even the organization has to see what is the criteria that they have to consider and what they have to achieve. Policy formulation is something that the organization will consider whether the approach is efficient and feasible or not before developing the product. As I said analysis will be done by policy evaluation and the implementation will be done to achieve policy formulation. Technically both terms contribute together in business to be successful.

Importance:

I feel that without a proper analysis a perfect product cannot be brought and in the same way, implementing with baseless analysis will fail the organization at some point. So, I see that when analysis and implementation are done one by one it will make better.
