Your dad wants and expects you to spend every Thanksgiving with his whole extended family. You and some close friends who don’t have large families want to get away for those four days and do something different. Your dad already arranged your transportation home.

Situation 2:

A fan behind you at a ballgame toots/blows a loud air horn every time the home team makes any progress. The noise is spoiling your enjoyment of the game.

Situation 3:

Earlier in the day, you asked your roommate to stop by the store and pick up snacks for a party you are both hosting this evening. Your roommate arrives home without the food.

Situation 4:

You and Marc share a cubicle and a computer at work and you are both responsible for the same amount and type of work. Marc arrives a few minutes earlier than you and stays on the computer for several hours, then begins his non-computer work. You would be able to work more efficiently if you had some time on the computer early in the day.
