Family deeply affects child development. As a result, this assignment will focus on ways in which family, culture, and community can influence a child’s learning and development. In addition, you will practice advocating for your students by requesting parental involvement in the classroom and demonstrating the importance of positive, purposeful relationships on child development.
Write a 500-750 word Fall Welcome Night script to parents and guardians that attempts to persuade them to become involved in their child’s learning. Focus on a specific grade level Pre-K-3.
