There are two parts to this week’s assignment:

Part 1.

1. You will be assigned a topic and put into groups to start working on your evidence-based practice projects. You will then individually conduct a literature search on your topic. You will select appropriate articles for your group evidence-based practice project. Every student should post 2 articles to the discussion board. The articles need to be published within the last 5 years and they need to be database articles that are relevant to your topic. For this assignment, you are not required to respond to others, but you will need to start your group discussions for your project. Please cite the articles using APA 7th Ed format.

Part 2.

This assignment is related to your topic literature search. Answer each question thoroughly.

1. Describe the issue or problem you searched?

2. Where did you go for your search? Name and describe the databases. Give a rationale for your choices.

3. What are your search terms?

4. What type of output did you get from your search? Too little or to much?

5. What inclusion and exclusion criteria did you use to keep or discard a piece of evidence?
