The first thing I would recommend would be hiring data scientist (or Business analyst who can deal with sale data). Only fact we know is that some of stores in Kansas City shows signal of growing even though the company is using company-wide marketing strategy. We need to know what is happening behind before suggesting any strategy and understanding data would be our first step. For example, if it is because special customer service representative, we can provide CS training for all staffs. If it is because the increase of the target customer group in KC, then there might be nothing we can do as it is likely the natural increase.

If we want to improve the marketing effort, I believe Fashion Land should research the target group or hire someone for them to do so to figure out the fashion trend of our target group. Also, as we may all aware, the trend of young females changes very rapidly, we may need to benchmark the strategy of some apparel companies (“Fast Fashion”) to fill their needs. It requires Fashion Land to be ready for fast production, fast sale and delivery with reasonable price.
However, companies are facing a lot of issues such as environmental problem, using lots of resource like water and plastic, and abusing cheap labor. Many fast fashion companies experienced the decline in sales after demonstration of civic group or factory workers. If we adopt this strategy, Fashion Land needs to make sure there is a risk which could result the damage to the reputation of the company.

DISCUSSION 2: As manager of networks and computing operations for fashion land I would plan to help in developing electronic commerce initiative for fashion I will plan my own for the development of fashion land .

A. a outline business strategy for fashion land’s online business initiative to do all things accordingly without any disturbance in the development and updating I will hire the best planner for my business who can plan all the steps in the development without any flaws.
and also I will give him all the responsibilities to assign duties to other employees without the any confusion among all the workers and also I will set him a target to reach every month which I would get satisfied without any disappointment and which would give me huge profits.
then I will ask him to prepare a budget that which has raw materials and also to calculate minimum cost to be sold for the product and to calculate all the charges that would come under processing and finally to fix the selling price to products .
B. here as it is mentioned that youth is the main attracted and more customers come from this category then I would like to rise point most them use electronic payment for this and it has so many negatives if we be little careless in this aspect here we should not trust any one that easily we should not blindly give access to the everyone to deal with payment options .
and also we should send confirmation mail to reconfirm the payment and also code to be sent to be assure that we are dealing with trust worthy with out getting fooled by any other frauds
advertising would be the first one to rise business here only youngsters are customers we can easily get attention through them that is social media
now a days everyone are on social media so here we can promote easily and also ask our customers to review the products and their experience and share their satisfaction with our products
for more attractive I would to make short video of the product and a link below it get all details related to it without any distraction so they could easily access all the details of it .
relating to delivery would clearly mention the charges that would cost and also legal issues and any other can be questioned us directly and also can see the reviews of other customers where they can trust us and also access all the information about our fashion land .
